EAA Young Eagles

EAA's Young Eagle Program was developed for children ages 7-18, giving them their first aircraft ride. The event was introduced and promoted five years before the 100 year celebration of powered flight honoring the Wright Brothers. The program achieved its objective and flew over one million children. Because of the program's success EAA decided to give it permanent status. EAA Chapter  #50 pilots flew over 500 children during this period. These flights are conducted with parental or guardian written permission at no expense to the child or parent. The object of the program now, is to continue to introduce children in that age bracket to the excitement of their first flight. Give your child that unique opportunity and contact one of EAA #50's Young Eagles pilots today.
